Our Mission:
The Robert Bruce school community is committed to cultivating confident, successful, self- motivated, problem-solving students. We will be digitally empowered to innovate through technology which will lead to independent thinkers who have high expectations for themselves and their futures.

The Bruce staff and students will encompass a culture of respect and a love for learning. This will lead to an environment that promotes safety and kindness for all.

School Profile:
Robert Bruce Elementary School, built in 1940, is located in Santa Maria and serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through six following a traditional calendar. At the beginning of the 2024-25 school year, 1,050 students were enrolled, including 13.0% in special education, 68.1% qualifying for English Language Learner support, 0.5% foster youth, 33.9% homeless youth, 9.1% migrant education, and 96.7% socioeconomically disadvantaged.
